NPRINT.IO

User experience design in website
development: system redesign

A digital platform that helps B2B customers to generate and print designs for their physical stores. The platform allows the customers to use the brand campaign images and adjust the design of the end product. The digital platform is aimed at improving the day-to-day lives of customers by providing them with a fast way and convenient way to create and order online new designs for the stores without the need to use physical stores and services.

Problem statement

How might we improve the user experience of the inprint.io web printing platform for both external B2B non-tech-savvy customers and internal Design Eyewear Group employees?

Methods and theories used to answer the problem statement:

  • Quantitative & qualitative research

  • Table research

  • Empathy map

  • User personas

  • Value Proposition Canvas

  • Jobs To Be Done

  • How Might We

  • Moscow analysis

  • Risk assessment

  • Sitemaps

  • Wireframes

  • Conceptual prototype

To overcome the B2B customer pains, the new solution offers clean and structured sequential navigation that guides them through the design process, allowing them to fulfill the main jobs quickly and consciously. The main buttons and pages are provided with description that helps the users to make a structured choice. Moreover, a CTA button is added to guide the users to the start of the process. The pages have been simplified and offer clean and understandable user content. Now, the confirmation of the user’s actions can be seen on every page through the design process with the help of visual progress bar and text indicator on the top of a page. The visual design has been improved by more consistent color choices in backgrounds, contrast text, and familiar button color choices.

To ease the pains of the B2B customers and DEG employees, delivery address can now be chosen before placing the order, therefore, creating a self-service. The DEG employees now can successfully overview the order status and track the manufacturing process that is needed to oversee and maintain the order’s on-time delivery.
